Febrile curious larvae (often referred to as curious fever) is an infectious disease caused by Rickettsia orientalis acute (or as R. tsutsugamushi) triggers; vector is curious Trombicula larvae (now called Leptotrombidium). The disease is characterized clinically by fever lasting 2-3 weeks, enclosed in skin ulcers, swollen lymph glands and rash body. Chloramphenicol and tetracycline treatment with good results.
